Key Features & Vapor Performance

When it comes to dry herb vaporization, consistent power delivery is crucial for maintaining precise temperatures and extracting the pure flavor profiles of your botanicals. The Avatar AVB 21700 features an advertised 4000mAh capacity (tested independently at a highly respectable 3900mAh) alongside a continuous discharge rate of up to 30A (tested at 20A). This robust amperage ensures rapid heat-up times and dense, satisfying cloud production, even when operating your vaporizer at higher temperatures. By delivering steady voltage throughout your session, this cell prevents temperature drops during heavy draws, securing an optimal vaporization experience from the first inhale to the last.

Build Quality & Engineering

Designed to fit modern, high-energy vaporizers, the 21700 form factor represents the next generation of portable power. The Avatar AVB 21700 is built with premium lithium-ion chemistry, offering significantly higher energy density and thermal efficiency than standard 18650 cells. This means longer sessions and less downtime without adding excessive bulk to your setup. Encased in a durable protective wrap with a secure flat-top design, this cell is engineered to withstand the daily wear and tear of active vaping. For those looking to customize or maintain their setups, you can explore our full range of vaporizer parts and accessories to find compatible gear.

How to Use & Maintenance

Check Compatibility: Ensure your vaporizer or box mod specifically supports 21700 batteries. Note that this cell will not fit devices designed exclusively for 18650 batteries.
Insert Correctly: Slide the battery into your device's battery compartment, paying close attention to the positive (+) and negative (-) polarity markings.
Charging Protocol: For maximum lifespan and safety, we highly recommend using a high-quality external smart charger rather than charging through your vape device.
Battery Safety: Always inspect the protective wrap before use. Never carry loose batteries in your pocket or bag; always use a plastic battery case to prevent short circuits.
Pairing Multi-Cell Mods: If using a multi-battery box mod, always use "married" pairs—batteries of the exact same model, purchased and charged together as a set.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use this battery in a mod that only accepts 18650 batteries?

No, the Avatar AVB 21700 is physically larger than an 18650 battery and will not fit into devices designed exclusively for the 18650 standard. Always check your vaporizer's user manual to verify compatibility before purchasing.

How long does the Avatar AVB 21700 take to charge?

Charging times vary depending on the charging current of your external charger. Typically, using a standard 1A smart charger, a full charge from empty will take approximately 3.5 to 4.5 hours. Using a 2A fast charger can reduce this time significantly.

Is it safe to charge this battery inside my vaporizer?

While many modern vaporizers feature built-in USB charging, we always recommend utilizing a dedicated external battery charger. External chargers provide a safer, more balanced charge, monitor cell health, and prolong the overall lifespan of your batteries.
