Santa Cruz Shredder 4 Piece Grinder - Medium Red

Premium Herb Preparation for Connoisseurs

The Santa Cruz Shredder 4 Piece Grinder - Medium Red is the industry benchmark for premium herb preparation. Engineered in the USA, this medical-grade grinder is designed specifically for dry herb connoisseurs who refuse to compromise on vapor quality. By fluffing your material to perfection rather than crushing it, this grinder maximizes surface area, making it the ideal companion for high-end vaporizers available at ZVaporizer Australia.

Key Features & Vapor Performance

Unlike standard herb grinders that compress and strip your herbs, the Santa Cruz Shredder uses a revolutionary bi-directional tooth design that slices and aerates. This creates a highly consistent, fluffy grind that is essential for optimal convection airflow. By preventing compaction, hot air from your vaporizer can pass evenly through the chamber, unlocking rich flavor profiles, massive cloud density, and highly efficient extraction from your favorite dry herbs.

Build Quality & Ergonomics

Crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum and manufactured using precise CNC technology, this grinder is built for a lifetime of heavy use. The entire unit is anodized, creating a highly durable, scratch-resistant barrier that protects against thread wear and metal-on-metal friction. It features a coarse, ergonomic grip for effortless shredding, a powerful rare-earth magnetic lid to prevent accidental spills, and a proprietary thread design that completely eliminates cross-threading and aluminum dust contamination.

How to Use & Maintenance

1. Place your dry herbs between the teeth of the top section, avoiding the center magnet.
2. Secure the magnetic lid and rotate back and forth; the bi-directional teeth will shred through material effortlessly.
3. Once the herbs fall through to the middle chamber, unscrew the top section to access your perfectly fluffed material.
4. The bottom catcher stores ultra-fine pollen filtered through the high-count micron screen.
5. To clean, disassemble the parts and brush out debris, or soak in isopropyl alcohol to restore its brand-new finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is a fluffy grind better for dry herb vaporizers?

A fluffy, non-compacted grind increases the surface area of your herbs while allowing maximum airflow. This is particularly crucial for convection vaporizers, ensuring even heat distribution and preventing hot spots for a smoother, more flavorful vapor production.

How often should I clean my Santa Cruz Shredder?

For optimal performance, we recommend brushing out the screen and threads every few weeks. If the rotation starts to feel sticky, a quick soak in isopropyl alcohol from our premium range of vaporizer parts and accessories will restore its buttery-smooth glide.

Does the anodized coating wear off into my herbs?

Absolutely not. The Santa Cruz Shredder undergoes an advanced medical-grade anodizing process that chemically alters the surface of the aluminum. This prevents flaking, scratching, and cross-threading, ensuring zero aluminum dust ever contaminates your herbs.
