Volcano Classic Vaporizer

The Volcano Classic Vaporizer is the undisputed king of desktop vaporizers, setting the global gold standard for performance, flavor, and reliability for over two decades. Engineered in Germany by Storz & Bickel, this medical-grade powerhouse is ideal for both beginners and seasoned connoisseurs seeking unmatched vapor purity. With its iconic balloon delivery system and robust convection heating, it offers a premium, shared, or solo session experience that portable units simply cannot match.

Key Features & Vapor Performance

At the heart of the Volcano Classic is an enormous 100-watt aluminum heat exchanger combined with a pure convection heating system. This advanced engineering ensures your dry herbs are only heated when hot air is actively blown through the chamber, eliminating waste and preserving precious active compounds. The iconic Easy Valve balloon and valve system captures every ounce of vapor, allowing it to cool inside the balloon before you inhale. This results in incredibly dense, smooth, and flavorful clouds with zero throat irritation. Whether you are using it at home or comparing it to smaller devices from our portable vaporizers collection, the Volcano's vapor production remains unmatched in density and flavor retention.

Build Quality & Ergonomics

Made in Germany, the Volcano Classic boasts exceptional medical-grade construction and extensive safety testing. Its electromechanical design is famously robust, completely avoiding fragile glass components to ensure maximum durability. The heavy-duty metal base provides incredible stability on any tabletop. For those seeking a modern aesthetic, the Onyx edition features a sleek, matte black finish with a high-quality, scratch-resistant powder coating that resists smudges and fingerprints. With no automatic shutoff timer, this legendary desktop unit can stay powered on all day, ready for back-to-back sessions whenever you are.

How to Use & Maintenance

1. Fill the Chamber: Grind your dry herbs to a medium consistency and pack them loosely into the Easy Valve filling chamber.
2. Select Your Temperature: Turn the analog dial to your desired setting. The Classic features a range of 130°C to 230°C (numbered 1 to 9). Setting 5 to 6 is highly recommended for optimal flavor and cloud density.
3. Heat Up: Turn on the heater switch. The amber control light will illuminate, indicating the unit is heating. It takes approximately 3 minutes to reach temperature, and the light will turn off once ready.
4. Fill the Balloon: Attach the filling chamber to the top of the Volcano, connect your Easy Valve balloon, and turn on the air pump switch. Watch as the balloon fills with thick, milky vapor. Turn off the pump once full.
5. Inhale & Enjoy: Attach the mouthpiece to the balloon valve and press it gently against your lips to release the vapor.
6. Maintenance: Clean the filling chamber and screens regularly using the included cleaning brush. For a deeper clean, soak the metal parts in isopropyl alcohol and wipe down the exterior base with a damp cloth.
