Key Features & Battery Safety

When carrying exposed NiMH batteries, contact with loose change, keys, or other metal objects can trigger a short circuit. This causes the battery to overheat, spark, or vent Potassium Hydroxide, which permanently destroys its capacity and poses a serious fire hazard. These authentic Magic Flight Launch Box Battery Caps insulate the positive terminals completely, ensuring your batteries remain perfectly safe in transit. Keeping your batteries capped guarantees maximum charge retention, safe handling, and a significantly extended overall lifespan.

Build Quality & Ergonomics

Crafted from premium, heavy-duty soft PVC, these battery caps are engineered for a secure, friction-fit grip that will not slip off in your pocket or bag. The flexible material absorbs impacts and resists tearing, offering long-term durability. For authentic appeal, each cap is embossed with the iconic Magic-Flight glyph, matching the organic aesthetic of your Launch Box. They are lightweight, compact, and designed to add virtually zero bulk to your portable vape kit.

How to Use & Maintenance

Insulate the Terminal: Slide the soft PVC cap firmly over the exposed positive terminal of your NiMH AA battery immediately after charging or use.
Safe Storage: Place the capped batteries in your pocket, carry case, or drawer without worrying about contact with keys or coins.
Remove for Use: Simply peel the cap off when you are ready to insert the battery into your Magic Flight Launch Box.
Easy Cleaning: Periodically wipe the inside and outside of the caps with a damp cloth or a light wipe of isopropyl alcohol from our vaporizer parts and accessories collection to remove pocket lint and dust.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are battery caps necessary for the Magic Flight Launch Box?

Because the MFLB uses peeled NiMH AA batteries with exposed metal casings, any contact with metal objects like keys or coins can cause them to short-circuit, overheat, or vent chemicals. Battery caps safely insulate these terminals during transport.

Can I use these caps on standard AA batteries?

Yes, these caps are designed to fit standard AA-sized NiMH batteries perfectly, making them highly versatile for any unprotected rechargeable AA batteries in your kit.

How do I clean my MFLB battery caps?

You can wash them with warm soapy water or wipe them down with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol. Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back onto your batteries.
